  • Expedited Referrals: Fast-tracked access to physiotherapists, occupational therapists, imaging, and surgical specialists when further treatment is required.
  • Return-to-Work Guidance: Clear, realistic expectations on your recovery timeline and work capacity. We collaborate with you and your employer to support a safe, gradual return to normal duties.

Progress Review

Ensuring You’re On the Right Track.

  • Progress Evaluation: We conduct a focused re-examination to assess healing, review medications trialled, discuss symptom changes, and evaluate any new imaging or physiotherapy reports.
  • Treatment Plan Refinement: Based on your progress, we update your physiotherapy goals and consider additional interventions such as bracing, joint injections, or other non-operative therapies.
  • Updated Work Capacity Reports: A revised WorkCover-compatible report is issued, reflecting your current functional status and any changes to your capacity for duties.
  • Escalation of Care: If recovery stalls or red flags emerge, we facilitate rapid referral to surgeons, pain specialists, or allied health providers to ensure timely next-step care.

Surgical Review (If Required)

  • Referral Criteria: Surgical review is considered when conservative treatment fails or when imaging identifies injuries requiring operative care.

  • Pre-Surgical Coordination: All necessary imaging and documentation are prepared before referral to avoid delays.
  • Post-Surgical Follow-up: After surgery, we coordinate rehab, monitor progress, and provide updated work capacity reports.

Final Review & Discharge

  • Final Clinical Review: We confirm recovery status, review final imaging or feedback, and assess return-to-work readiness.
  • Discharge Summary & Documentation: A WorkCover-compliant summary of the entire episode is sent to relevant stakeholders.
  • Re-engagement if Required: Patients are welcome to return if symptoms recur. We retain records for fast re-engagement.
